Andy is part of the Hilton Architecture, Design & Construction team and has particular responsibility for delivering Hilton Capex projects, which are basically those projects where Hilton has a financial stake in the ownership, whether that be as a JV, lease or pure ownership. The scope of this work covers everything from inception to delivery all across Europe and Africa and since joining Hilton at the start of 2017, Andy has worked on and delivered projects in South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, Germany and the UK. Andy is a qualified Architect and has over 25 years’ experience working in the construction industry with nearly 20 years of this specifically in hotels. During this time, he has worked on many facets of the hotel development process, including design, development, construction, project management, delivery, brand design and innovation; and from this experience, has a clear understanding of the importance of Interior Design and moreover, the selection of the right Interior Designer, in the success of any project.
Prior to Hilton, Andy worked as a consultant for a short while and before that, he worked for IHG for nearly 15 years. During his time at IHG, he worked in architecture, design and brand roles.
Outside of work, Andy lives in Henley with his wife, Alison, has three kids, a slightly crazy dog and house that is in a state of perpetual refurbishment. He is also a keen, if rather slow cyclist, an avid football fan and a lover of good food and drink.
